Completely different category this time !

Made from an Art Rage tutorial. Here is the link.
Only dry brush effect made in PS. It's not very different from the original one.

Nice mix of colors here. Your marks look pretty uniform, so I'd suggest picking particular areas to emphasize or deemphasize by using finer, tighter strokes or looser, broader strokes respectively. Watch the flat head, too; it's tempting to distort the image to fit the box, but the results are unnatural.

Very nice, I agree with chickenfingers in that the colors are very nicely done. I really like the painterly look with tis one as well, very nicely done.

hi, nice attempt. its good to see tht u followed the tutorial, thats mine..

. few observations from my side:
try not to have a cut of feel, let edges get blended with the background.
i see a filtered look, i wouldve avoided.
this kind of painting style must have a spontaneous approach. the flow of the brush etc. it would be great if u work in that way.
.flat head is a bit confusing.
